The check-in icon from the schedule now also appears at the bottom of the encounter, the chart note and the treatment plan, beside the buttons that open the other forms. Click it to check the patient in, check them out or undo a check-out without leaving the page, and point at it to see the check-in and check-out times.
An orange dot means not checked in, a green tick means checked in and a green check mark in a circle means checked out. Clicking the green tick now records the check-out and its time instead of removing the check-in. The schedule shows the same icons on today's visits, and they no longer disappear from the schedule in the evening.
If a service or product on a checked-out visit is added, removed, or changes in quantity, price, discount or tax, the icon turns into a yellow warning, on the schedule as well as in the encounter. Click Check Out (Save) to record the changes and the warning clears. The service and product windows now say when a visit has already been checked out, and deleting a line from a checked-out encounter asks first.
