ChartPro

  • Fixed
    Service Groups in ChartPro Coding

Picking a service group in a chart note's Coding panel gave an error instead of adding the group's services, and the search squeezed descriptions into a narrow column. Groups now add from the Coding panel, each match shows on its own row with a group's services listed, and the arrow keys and Enter pick from the list.

  • Fixed
Products in Treatment Plans and Chart Notes

Products clicked into a treatment plan landed inside the previous product's instructions, and text typed after them came out in italics. Each product now goes in as its own block, and in the chart note's Plan as one line with shorthand dosing. Both panels list This visit and Other visits (6 months), each with an Add all link that skips products already in the note.

PatientPro

  • Fixed
Replying to Secure Messages in the Portal

In the portal's secure messages a reply was a single line and lost its line breaks, and on phones the page footer covered the reply box and the keyboard. The reply box now takes several lines and keeps them, the footer no longer covers it on small screens, and the page's automatic refresh waits while a reply is being typed.

  • Fixed
Subscribe and Save Keeps Prescribed Dosing

Subscribing to a product in the portal cleared the dosing instructions on the patient's auto-order, so later refills went out without them. The plan's dosing is now kept, and a new subscription takes the dosing from the patient's latest prescription for that product. Plans subscribed through the portal before this change may need their dosing re-entered.

  • Fixed
    Resubscribing Restarts an Ended Auto-Order

A patient who subscribed again in the portal to a product whose auto-order had been cancelled was charged, but the auto-order stayed ended and no refills followed. Subscribing again now restarts it, keeping any end date a provider has set in the future.

  • Fixed
Portal Purchases Move the Next Auto-Order

A patient on auto-order who also bought the product in the portal received both, because the purchase did not change the schedule. Buying a product in the portal now moves its next auto-order to a full interval after the purchase, and the order window tells the patient that the product is already on auto-order and whether a refill is already being prepared.

  • Fixed
Next Refill Date in the Portal

Patients changing an auto-order in the portal could set its next date to today, which sent a refill that night on top of the order they were paying for. The field is now Next refill date and cannot be set to today or earlier, and the checkout shows the real next refill date.

  • Fixed
Portal Documents Follow the Portal Setting

Each document type in OfficePro's document settings has a Portal box, which makes that type available to patients in the portal, but the portal showed every document on the patient's record whatever it said. The portal now shows only documents whose type has Portal ticked, plus documents the patient uploaded, on the Documents page and on past visits.

  • Fixed
    Portal Order and Agreement Notices

The order confirmation email from the patient portal said the order came through the Practice patient portal instead of naming the practice, and the notice that a patient signed an agreement gave the practice's own name instead of the patient's. Both now show the right names. An auto-order placed without a refill interval now asks for one instead of hanging.

  • Fixed
Pickup Order Tax in the Portal

Portal product orders picked up at the clinic were taxed at the rate for the patient's home address, which could differ from the clinic's rate, and the checkout page could show a different tax from the one charged. Pickup orders are now taxed at the clinic's rate, and the tax and total update when the patient switches between Pick up at clinic and Ship to my address.

  • Fixed
    Online Booking Deposits Enforced

Appointment types that require a deposit could, in some cases, be booked online without the deposit being paid. They now book only after the payment has been confirmed by the card processor, within two hours of paying, and each payment books one visit. Practices that do not take card payments in the portal are not affected.

  • Fixed
    Intake Better and Worse Answers

On the patient portal's return-visit intake, the boxes for what made a problem better and what made it worse were labelled the wrong way round, so each answer was saved under the opposite heading. The labels are corrected and the answers already given have been switched back. Intake PDFs saved before the fix, and any note text copied from them, still show the two reversed.

  • Fixed
    Adding Concerns on Return Intake

On the portal's return-visit intake, a patient with no concern yet on the visit could save a new concern that never appeared, after which the New Concern choice stopped responding until the page was reloaded. Saved concerns now appear with an Edit button and an Add Another Concern button. Editing a concern also keeps a changed onset date and its associated symptoms, and Mark as resolved no longer shows a stray popup.

BillPro

  • Fixed
Daily Claims by Date of Service

The daily claims list included claims created that day for earlier visits. It now lists only claims whose dates of service fall on that day.

  • Fixed
    Claims with No Services

A claim with no service lines showed green, as though it were complete and paid. It now shows red with No services on claim until services are added to it or it is deleted.

  • Fixed
ERA Posting Uses the Payment You Entered

When an ERA was posted for an insurance check the office had already entered by hand, BillPro added a second payment for the same check, so the money could be allocated twice, and posting a second ERA on the same check number could clear the allocations of other payments on that check. Posting now uses the matching payment you entered, keeping its date, amount and deposit, warns when more than one could match, and leaves other payments on the check alone.

  • Fixed
    Allocate Payment Rows Saving Repeatedly

On Allocate Payment, two rows could keep saving each other, so the screen flashed between Save and Saved and every save added another note to the claim's history. Each row now saves once per change, and the cursor stays where you are working.

  • Fixed
    Processing Reports by Date Received

BillPro Processing Reports filtered on the visit's date of service, so Today was nearly always empty and recent replies were hard to find, and searching the list gave an error. The list now has a Received column showing when each reply reached BillPro, filters and sorts on it with the newest first, and searches the message, claim number and patient name.

OfficePro

  • Fixed
Schedule Columns for Every Start Time

For practices whose schedule starts at 7 or 9 am, the day columns ran past the last time on the time bar and out-of-office and holiday blocks were the wrong length, and a day off saved as zero hours stretched its column past the end of the day. The time bar, columns and blocks now all run from the practice's start time to 10 pm.

  • Fixed
Online Orders Below the Daily Schedule

Product orders and refills placed through the portal late at night or early in the morning were missing from the list below the daily schedule, and orders could appear in the day's chronological list. The list below the schedule now shows every order and refill for the day, and the chronological list leaves them out.

  • Fixed
Schedule Check-In Icons in the Evening

The check-in icons on today's visits disappeared from the schedule in the evening, because the schedule went by the server's date rather than the practice's. They now follow the practice's own date in every schedule view, and meetings no longer show a check-in icon in the graph views.

  • Fixed
Void or Refund on Card Payments

The card payment window kept offering Void on a payment after the day's card batch had closed, when only a refund can return the money, and judged the day by the server's clock, so an evening payment could show the wrong choice. It now offers Void only on a payment taken today, in the practice's own time zone, whose card batch has not closed, and Refund for everything else.

  • Fixed
    Encounter for Patients with Reminders

For a patient with an upcoming reminder, the encounter stopped with an error at its Follow Up Options panel, and the Edit Reminder window failed the same way. Both open normally again.

  • Fixed
    Afternoon Hours on Provider Schedules

On the daily provider graph and the weekly provider schedules, the provider columns stopped short in the afternoon, so the later hours had no grid behind them and double-clicking there did not start a new visit. The columns now run to 10 pm.

  • Fixed
Add Visit Patient Search and Saved Passwords

Typing a name in the Patient box of Add Visit could make the browser offer to save a password. It no longer does.

  • Fixed
    Encounter Check-Out Time

Check Out (Save) recorded the check-out time by the web server's clock rather than the practice's time zone, so the time shown on the visit could be an hour or more off. It now uses the practice's own time zone, the same as check-in.

  • Fixed
    Apostrophes in Recurring Visit Complaints

Booking a series of recurring visits or meetings doubled every apostrophe in the complaint or subject, and doubled it again on each later visit in the series, until the text was cut off. Series now save the text exactly as typed.

ChartPro

  • Fixed
    Segment Form Kept on Save

Saving a note segment could silently remove the form attached to it when that form was not in the Include a Form list, so the segment's panel stopped appearing in chart notes. The segment editor now always keeps the current form selected. Objective forms can now also be chosen when adding or editing a segment.

  • Fixed
    Medication Links in Chart Notes

In the chart note sidebar, a medication whose name, instructions or status contained an apostrophe, quote mark or line break broke its link, and the Add Meds List and Add All Meds links with it. These links now add the medications to the note as expected.

  • Fixed
    Chart Exports Skip Unreadable PDFs

One password-protected or damaged PDF in a patient's documents stopped the whole chart export, and lab exports silently left it out. Exports now put a notice page in that document's place, and the finished screen lists each document that could not be included so it can be opened and printed separately.

PatientPro

  • Fixed
    Agreement Sign Button Stall

Signing an agreement at the kiosk or in the patient portal waited for the signed PDF copy to be made, so when document generation was slow the patient was left on a spinning Sign button and repeated taps piled up. The patient now moves on as soon as the signature is saved, and the PDF copy is filed afterwards.

  • Fixed
    Kiosk Card Payments

Paying with a saved card at kiosk check-out failed with a payment gateway error before the card was charged, so patients had to pay at the front desk. Kiosk card payments now go through, a practice without card payments set up sees a clear message instead, and the emailed receipt shows the practice logo and a readable next appointment date.

BillPro

  • Fixed
    Claim Dates of Service

Claims with a single service were saved without an end date of service, so the BillPro claims list showed them with a placeholder date of 1/1/01 beside the real one. Claims created or re-created now record their first and last service dates correctly.

  • Fixed
    PR Rule Post Setting

Saving an ERA denial code rule for a PR (patient responsibility) code switched its Post setting back to Yes, as though the choice had been ignored. The setting is now kept as chosen, the rules list shows n/a for PR, and the form explains that only Alert applies, because a patient's share is never written off as an insurance adjustment.

  • Fixed
    Large ERA PDF Downloads

Remittance PDFs covering many claims sometimes opened as damaged files because they were cut off when stored. Remittance PDFs of any size now download and open in full.

  • Fixed
    ERA Retrieval Restored

Electronic remittances from the clearinghouse stopped arriving automatically in August, when an unrelated claim-status error blocked the download. ERAs are now retrieved hourly on their own schedule, and remittances missed during the outage have been recovered.

  • Fixed
    Product Return Credits Protected

Unticking a return visit on the payment allocation screen removed the credit a product return had given the patient, leaving the return visit unpaid and the credit lost. That row can no longer be removed, and a message explains why. The encounter's Refund Return Credit button now also rebuilds a lost return credit.

ProductPro

  • Fixed
    Products Needed Order Quantities

The Products Needed list took quantities already on open purchase orders off twice, so its suggested order fell short by exactly the amount already on order. It now suggests what is still needed. A vendor is flagged for patient orders only when a patient-ordered product is not covered by stock on hand or an open purchase order.

  • Fixed
    First Auto-Order Shipment

A new auto-order plan could skip its first shipment, because its Next date was filled in one full interval after the Start date. The Next date now defaults to the Start date, and on a new plan it follows the Start date until someone changes it by hand.

  • Fixed
    Running On-Hand in Product History

The On Hand column in a product's transaction history counted in the wrong direction and read zero on the most recent transaction. It now shows the quantity on the shelf after each transaction, matching the total at the foot of the list.

  • Fixed
    Drop-Ship Transaction Dates

Products added to an encounter as drop-ship were recorded with no transaction date, so the line showed a blank date in product history and fell outside date-ranged inventory reports. New drop-ship lines are now dated correctly.

  • Fixed
    Cancelled Orders Keep Their Products

Cancelling a patient order used to put its products back in the patient's cart, leaving no record of what the order held. Products now stay on the cancelled order, the cancel prompt asks for a reason and warns when the order's encounter has already been charged or paid, and cancelled orders stay listed on the patient screen.

  • Fixed
    Discontinued Products Stop Refilling

A product marked inactive no longer generates automatic refill orders. Previously a retired product kept reordering for any patient with a standing auto-order, with nothing on screen to show it.

  • Fixed
    Automatic Purchase Order Quantities

Automatically generated vendor purchase orders no longer include lines with a zero or negative quantity, which could print on the PO as a credit. Fractional quantities now round up, and any line left out is listed in the run summary message so an incorrect on-order count gets noticed.

  • Fixed
    Purchase Order Quantity Safeguards

Purchase order and receiving quantities can no longer be saved below zero, which printed as credit lines on the vendor's copy and inflated future automatic orders. Automatic purchase orders created by the nightly run are now labelled as automatic, not as staff-created.

  • Fixed
    Adding Products to Purchase Orders

Adding a product to a purchase order that already had lines could update a different product's quantity instead of adding the new one. Each product is now matched correctly, so new products are added and existing lines go up by one.

  • Fixed
    Ended Auto-Orders Stop Reordering

Cancelling a patient auto-order, or letting it reach its end date, now actually stops the refills. The scheduled refill process was ignoring the end date, so some ended subscriptions kept generating orders even though they no longer appeared in the patient portal. Open-ended subscriptions are unaffected.

  • Fixed
    Fullscript Default Product Type

A Default Product Type in ProductPro settings that was not one of the practice's product types displayed as none, and saving the settings silently erased it. An invalid type is now shown and labelled as not valid so it can be corrected, and it is never saved over a good value.

  • Fixed
    Auto Order Lead Time Setting

The Auto Order Lead Time setting in ProductPro had no effect, because automatic patient orders were created using the visit reminder window instead. Auto orders now follow the lead time set in ProductPro, and saving the ConnectPro settings no longer resets it to zero.

ConnectPro

  • Fixed
    ConnectPro Dashboard Counts

The ConnectPro dashboard's voicemail count included voicemails that were not the practice's own, and its text message count disagreed with the list behind it. Both now count only the practice's own messages for the same period.
