OfficePro

  • Fixed
    Voicemail Caller Names

A voicemail from a new caller stayed labelled Unknown Caller in Messages even after that caller's chart was created. The message now matches the phone number to the patient when it is next viewed, shows their name and links to their chart. Unmatched callers no longer link to an empty chart.

  • Improved
    Visit Save Progress Message

Saving a visit can take several seconds while reminder texts and emails go out. Every save button, including the save-despite-conflict and suggested-time options in the conflict box, now locks as soon as a save starts and a Saving message appears, so a second click can no longer book the visit twice.

  • Fixed
    Provider Payroll Summary Period

The Provider Payroll Summary report opened on a fixed pay period from 2014, so it showed only zeros, and its heading carried another clinic's name. It now opens on the first half of the current month, offers both of this month's pay periods, and shows your own practice name.

  • Fixed
    Product List Export

Exporting the product list could time out on larger catalogs, and products whose vendor record was missing were left out of the file. The export now finishes in seconds, includes every product with a blank vendor where none is on file, and adds each product's storage location.

  • Fixed
    Patient Search Autofill

Browsers and password managers were filling saved logins into the patient name search on the schedule, case, lab, medication and message screens. Those search boxes are now marked so autofill leaves them alone.

  • Fixed
    Message Replies Refresh Correctly

After a comment, response or assignment was added to a message, the message row could reload showing an access error instead of the updated message. The row now refreshes normally.

  • Improved
Chart Tab for Chart Access Users

Users with Chart access can now open the Chart tab on a patient record, not only users with ChartPro or Administrator access. The chart history behind the tab also checks this permission itself, so it cannot be opened directly by a user without it.

  • Fixed
    Visits by Type Chart

The monthly Visits by Type chart counted that month across every year on record, including appointments booked in the future, so it disagreed with the chart beside it. It now shows the selected month and year only, and counts the same visit types as the rest of the dashboard.

  • Fixed
    Provider Report Service Categories

The service category columns on the Provider Report did not add up to the Services Total beside them. Services whose code appeared more than once in the catalog were counted twice, and services with no catalog entry were left out altogether instead of falling into the Misc. column. The categories now account for every service exactly once.

  • Fixed
    Provider Payroll Export Columns

Larger subtotals in the payroll export were written with a thousands separator, which pushed every remaining column on that row out of alignment. Figures are now written as plain numbers and provider names are quoted.

  • Fixed
    Provider Payroll Deductions

Where a provider's payroll subtotal came out below zero, the administration fee and lease payment were added to their payment instead of deducted. Fees are no longer worked out from a negative subtotal, and the exported spreadsheet now applies the same lease rate as the report on screen.

  • Fixed
Product Returns on the Sales Tax Report

Product returns were being left out of the sales tax report, so both taxable sales and the sales tax collected figure read higher than they should. Returns are now included, and the summary at the top of the report agrees with the remittance figures below it.

  • Fixed
    End of Day Report Totals

The summary totals across the top of the Master Report showed all zeros whenever the report was printed, saved as a PDF, or opened from the Day, Week and Month buttons. The summary now covers the same period as the report beneath it.

  • Fixed
    Deleting a Gift Card Payment

Deleting a gift card redemption from the patient or encounter screens did not return the value to the card. The card is now credited back, as it already was when the same thing was done from the billing screens.

  • Fixed
    Cancelling an Unpaid Gift Card

Cancelling a gift card that had not yet been paid for left its charge sitting on the patient's account. The charge is now reversed automatically and the sale settles to zero.

  • Fixed
    Gift Card Redemption Accounting

Redeeming a gift card was being recorded as a discount, which removed the revenue already recognized when the card was sold and credited the wrong provider. Redemptions are now recorded as payment, and production is attributed to the provider who delivered the service.

  • Fixed
    Gift Card Reload After Cancellation

A cancelled gift card could previously be reloaded back into use. Cancelled cards now stay cancelled.

  • New
    Gift Card Cancel and Refund

A gift card can now be cancelled or refunded, releasing the outstanding balance. Refunds are returned to the same tender that bought the card.

  • Improved
    Bulk Messaging Tag List

The bulk messaging screen now lists only tags that still have patients on them, so an empty list is never chosen by mistake.

  • Improved
    Reports Reorganized

All reports now live in one Reports area with a consistent layout, a side navigation panel that highlights the report you are viewing, and a date range bar that appears only where a date range applies.

  • Fixed
    Refill Report Error

Corrected an error that prevented the refill report from opening.

  • Improved
    Gift Cards in QuickBooks

Gift card sales now post to QuickBooks as deferred revenue and are recognized when the card is redeemed, rather than being booked as revenue and a discount at the same time.

  • Updated
    Books Feature Retired

The legacy Books area has been retired. It was built for an earlier database platform and had not been able to run since the move to the current one.

  • Improved
    Sales Tax Calculated Per Line

Sales tax is now worked out line by line using each product tax class and the ship-to jurisdiction, rather than applying one rate to the whole order. Orders that mix taxable, grocery, and exempt items now total correctly.

  • New
    Text Reminder Blurb

Practices can now add a short custom line to appointment reminder texts. The blurb is included in scheduled reminders and in the alerts sent when a visit is added or changed.

  • New
    Sales Tax Region Administration

Sales tax regions, tax groups, and the rate each tax class receives in each jurisdiction can now be managed from the administration area rather than being configured behind the scenes.

  • Improved
    Reminder Blurb in Scheduled Reminders

The scheduled reminder service now carries the practice reminder blurb through to every automated appointment text.

  • Fixed
    Over-the-Counter Sales Screen

Corrected an error on the over-the-counter sales screen that could stop a walk-in sale from completing.

  • Improved
    Full Patient Financial History Printing

The printed patient financial history now includes every transaction in one document instead of breaking across pages.

  • Improved
    Practice Time Zone Applied Everywhere

Provider and resource schedules, check-in, reminders, and message timestamps now all use the practice time zone, so times displayed in one part of the platform match every other part.

  • Improved
    Consistent Phone Number Handling

Patient and staff phone numbers are now stored and matched in one consistent format across the platform, so text messages reach the right number.

  • Improved
    Gift Cards on the Encounter

Gift cards can now be applied as payment during an encounter, with card funding and full transaction history visible from the patient and visit screens.

  • New
    Gift Cards

Practices can now sell, look up, check, and redeem gift cards. A gift card dashboard shows outstanding balances and recent activity, and cards can be funded and checked from the patient record.

  • Improved
    Add-On Settings Screens

The add-on settings screens for payments, Fullscript, label printing, e-prescribing, the NFC reader, text messaging, and practice styles have been reorganized into a consistent layout.

  • Improved
    Staff Password Setup

Adding or editing a staff user now handles password setup more clearly and applies the new password reliably.

  • Fixed
    Document Viewer and Visit Detail

Corrected display problems in the document viewer and on the visit detail and edit visit screens.

  • New
    Visit Type Tags

Visit types can now carry tags. Patients are tagged automatically by the kind of visit they book, and those tags can then be used to build messaging lists and reports.

  • New
    Bulk Patient Messaging

Practices can now send one message to a whole group of patients at once. Build the recipient list from patient tags, preview the email or text before it goes out, queue the send, and follow delivery progress on a status screen.

  • Improved
    Account Status Notice

The account status notice shown at sign-in has been updated, and practices with an arrangement in place can now be excluded from it.

June 2026

  • Improved
    Guided Demo Login Instructions

New demo accounts now display step-by-step practice and user login credentials with clear guidance, making it easier for prospective practices to start exploring their live demo.

  • Improved
    Over-Allocated Visits Report Redesign

The over-allocated visits report has been rebuilt with a clean layout, date-range filtering, and clearer highlighting of visits whose payments exceed their charges.

  • Improved
    Faster Patient Chart History Loading

The patient chart history now loads in pages with smooth infinite scrolling, so charts with many visits open quickly and load additional notes as you scroll.

  • Improved
    Visit Conflict Confirmation

When a scheduling conflict is detected, the save buttons stay disabled until staff explicitly choose to try again or save despite the conflict, preventing accidental duplicate visits. Clicking a suggested alternative time now saves the visit directly.

  • Fixed
    Accurate Check-In Time Zone

Patient check-in times are now recorded in the practice's local time zone, so the recent check-ins list and provider notifications reflect the correct time.

  • Fixed
Visit Types Hidden by Invalid Category

Visit types whose category was missing or invalid no longer disappear from the admin list. They now appear under the Admin category so they can be edited and configured.

  • New
Automatic Visit Tagging by Visit Type

Each visit type can now be configured to automatically add or remove patient tags whenever that type of visit is scheduled or created. Tags are applied across new appointments, recurring visit series, over-the-counter encounters, product returns, refunds, and refill orders, using an easy tag picker with autocomplete.

  • Fixed
    Clearer Card Entry Error Message

When the secure card-entry form cannot load, staff now see a clear, descriptive message explaining the likely cause instead of a blank or broken form.

  • Fixed
Saved Card Charges Require Patient Email

Saved card-on-file payment options are now disabled with a clear tooltip when a patient has no email address on file, since the processor requires an email for these charges. This prevents failed payments and explains how to resolve it.

  • Improved
    Proportional Contribution Refunds

When a payment that included a profession contribution is refunded, the contribution portion is now refunded proportionally and reversed in the records automatically.

  • New
1% for the Profession Contribution Program

Practices using card payments can opt in to contribute a small percentage (default 1%, up to 5%) of each processed transaction to the profession. The contribution is split out of the transaction total without changing what the patient is charged, appears on every receipt, and is tracked on each payment and refund.
