ProductPro

  • Fixed
    Products Needed Order Quantities

The Products Needed list took quantities already on open purchase orders off twice, so its suggested order fell short by exactly the amount already on order. It now suggests what is still needed. A vendor is flagged for patient orders only when a patient-ordered product is not covered by stock on hand or an open purchase order.

  • Fixed
    First Auto-Order Shipment

A new auto-order plan could skip its first shipment, because its Next date was filled in one full interval after the Start date. The Next date now defaults to the Start date, and on a new plan it follows the Start date until someone changes it by hand.

  • Fixed
    Running On-Hand in Product History

The On Hand column in a product's transaction history counted in the wrong direction and read zero on the most recent transaction. It now shows the quantity on the shelf after each transaction, matching the total at the foot of the list.

  • Fixed
    Drop-Ship Transaction Dates

Products added to an encounter as drop-ship were recorded with no transaction date, so the line showed a blank date in product history and fell outside date-ranged inventory reports. New drop-ship lines are now dated correctly.

  • Improved
    Drop-Ship Receipt Mismatch Flag

Purchase order lists now flag a drop-ship line where the quantity received does not match the quantity ordered. A drop-ship receipt should always match its order, so a mismatch usually means stock was received against the wrong purchase order and on-hand counts are overstated.

  • Fixed
    Cancelled Orders Keep Their Products

Cancelling a patient order used to put its products back in the patient's cart, leaving no record of what the order held. Products now stay on the cancelled order, the cancel prompt asks for a reason and warns when the order's encounter has already been charged or paid, and cancelled orders stay listed on the patient screen.

  • Fixed
    Discontinued Products Stop Refilling

A product marked inactive no longer generates automatic refill orders. Previously a retired product kept reordering for any patient with a standing auto-order, with nothing on screen to show it.

  • Fixed
    Automatic Purchase Order Quantities

Automatically generated vendor purchase orders no longer include lines with a zero or negative quantity, which could print on the PO as a credit. Fractional quantities now round up, and any line left out is listed in the run summary message so an incorrect on-order count gets noticed.

  • Fixed
    Purchase Order Quantity Safeguards

Purchase order and receiving quantities can no longer be saved below zero, which printed as credit lines on the vendor's copy and inflated future automatic orders. Automatic purchase orders created by the nightly run are now labelled as automatic, not as staff-created.

  • New
    Discontinued Product Notices

When a product is marked inactive while patients still have it in their cart or on an auto-order, OfficePro now opens a review screen listing those patients. Staff choose who to notify, edit the message, and can cancel the auto-orders in the same step. Carts and auto-orders also show a Discontinued badge.

  • Fixed
    Adding Products to Purchase Orders

Adding a product to a purchase order that already had lines could update a different product's quantity instead of adding the new one. Each product is now matched correctly, so new products are added and existing lines go up by one.

  • Fixed
    Ended Auto-Orders Stop Reordering

Cancelling a patient auto-order, or letting it reach its end date, now actually stops the refills. The scheduled refill process was ignoring the end date, so some ended subscriptions kept generating orders even though they no longer appeared in the patient portal. Open-ended subscriptions are unaffected.

  • Fixed
    Fullscript Default Product Type

A Default Product Type in ProductPro settings that was not one of the practice's product types displayed as none, and saving the settings silently erased it. An invalid type is now shown and labelled as not valid so it can be corrected, and it is never saved over a good value.

  • New
    Product Location Manager

ProductPro settings now include an Edit Locations screen for adding, renaming, ordering and retiring the shelf locations where products are stored, which previously only support could set up. Retired locations drop off the product form's list, except on products already assigned to them.

  • Fixed
    Auto Order Lead Time Setting

The Auto Order Lead Time setting in ProductPro had no effect, because automatic patient orders were created using the visit reminder window instead. Auto orders now follow the lead time set in ProductPro, and saving the ConnectPro settings no longer resets it to zero.

August 2026

ProductPro

  • Updated
    Inventory Screens Require ProductPro

Inventory, reorder, purchase order, patient order, cart and auto-order screens are now offered only to practices that use ProductPro inventory. For other practices the product list no longer shows on-hand counts or marks every stocked product as needing reorder. The Fullscript catalog stays available to any user with Products access.

  • New
    Fullscript Suggestions on Add Product

Typing a product name on the Add Product form now suggests matching Fullscript catalog products you do not already stock. Choosing one fills in the name, code, pack size, price and vendor, and links the product to Fullscript.

  • New
    Fullscript Catalog Import

Practices can now browse the Fullscript catalog from the product list, ranked by how often products are recommended across the NaturaeSoft network, and import selected products in bulk, creating vendors from brands. Existing products can be linked to their Fullscript match, and imported products receive default dosing instructions.

  • Fixed
    Split Order Totals

When an order is split because some items are out of stock, the original order is now reduced by the value that moved, rather than both orders carrying it. Sales tax on the new order is also calculated correctly for each item, and per-item discounts are no longer ignored.

  • Fixed
Removing an Item from an Order

Removing an item from an order set the whole order's sales tax to zero and dropped the shipping fee out of the total. The order is now re-totalled from the items that remain, with tax worked out for each item in turn.

  • Fixed
Missing Tax Rate No Longer Blocks Checkout

If a tax rate cannot be found for a jurisdiction, checkout now continues and says that no tax was applied, rather than stopping. A tax rate of one hundred percent is refused outright.

  • Fixed
    Cart Checkout Totals

When items were unticked at cart checkout, the order was still priced for everything in the cart. An order is now priced only for the items actually being ordered, and the staff notification lists the same items.

  • Fixed
    Zero Price Products

Corrected an error that appeared when a product was priced at zero.

  • New
    Product Tax Classes

Each product can now be assigned a tax class of Standard, Grocery, or Exempt from the add and edit product screens, so items that are taxed differently are priced correctly at checkout.

  • Fixed
Subscribe and Save Discount Applied Once

The Subscribe and Save discount on automatic refill orders was being applied twice on some orders: once on the product line and again as a separate account credit. The discount is now applied only on the product line, and the duplicate credits left behind by earlier orders have been corrected.

  • Fixed
    Auto-Order Tax Rate

Corrected the tax rate used when the scheduled refill process creates an order, so automatically generated orders are taxed the same as an order taken at the counter.

  • Improved
Patient Auto-Orders Moved to the Cloud

Automatic refill orders now run as a scheduled cloud task with its own monitoring, replacing the older server script.

July 2026

ProductPro

  • Improved
    Patient Order Workspace Redesign

The patient order screen has been rebuilt around three clear steps: Process, Collect, and Deliver. Order products, history, and delivery details now fit in one window without scrolling, and the confirmation appears in the corner rather than taking up the top of the screen.

  • Fixed
    Dosing Carried to Refill Orders

Dosing instructions now carry through from the patient treatment plan to each automatically generated refill order, so refills arrive labelled the same way as the original.

  • Improved
    Delivery Method on Patient Orders

An order can now be switched between shipping and pickup directly from the order screen, and the delivery method and status are shown as badges rather than buttons.

  • Improved
    Fullscript Integration Updates

The Fullscript connection has been updated so treatment plans and dynamic patient links stay in step with the catalog.

  • Fixed
    Fullscript Dynamic Links

Corrected the Fullscript dynamic link and treatment plan update paths so patient links open the right catalog.

June 2026

ProductPro

  • Fixed
    Purchase Order Receipt Label

A purchase order window now correctly displays the Purchase Order number heading instead of mislabeling it as a receipt.

  • Improved
    Faster Auto Orders Page

The auto orders page now loads on-hand and on-order inventory counts far more efficiently, so the page no longer slows down as order data grows.

  • New
    Auto Orders By Date View

The Patient Auto Orders page now offers a By Date view that lists every active auto-order across all patients, grouped into Overdue, Due This Week, and Later and sorted soonest-first, alongside the existing By Patient view.

  • Improved
    Faster Product Search When Receiving

Searching for products while receiving a purchase order is now faster and more responsive, with a wider results panel and vendor-aware matching for quicker, more accurate lookups.

  • Fixed
    Cleaner Purchase Orders Dashboard

The Purchase Orders page now hides the Products Needed panel when nothing is currently needed and lays out more cleanly on smaller screens and tablets.

  • Improved
    Improved Product Search

Product search now matches text found anywhere within a product name, making it easier to find items by partial or middle-of-name keywords.

  • Improved
    Smarter Purchase Order Product List

When building a purchase order, the product picker now includes items linked to the vendor as a distributor or manufacturer and items matched by vendor SKU. Active products are listed first, with inactive products grouped separately.

  • Fixed
    Clearer Product Code Validation

Product codes are now validated consistently when adding or editing a product, with a clear message listing the allowed characters to prevent saving codes that could break orders.

  • Improved
    Product Code Rename Updates Everywhere

Renaming a product code now automatically updates that code across patient plans and shopping carts, so existing patient orders and auto-refills stay linked to the correct product.

May 2026

ProductPro

  • New
    Purchase Order Data Export

When a purchase order is generated, a structured data file is now automatically created and emailed alongside the order. This file can be used for importing orders into accounting or inventory systems.

  • New
    45-Day Auto-Refill Schedule

A 45-day interval has been added to the auto-refill schedule options, giving practices a mid-range choice between the existing 30-day and 60-day frequencies.

  • Improved
    Remove Product from Auto-Refill

Staff can now set an auto-refill quantity to zero to remove a product from a patient's recurring order schedule. A confirmation prompt appears before the change is saved to prevent accidental removal.

  • Improved
Free Shipping Indicator on Purchase Orders

Purchase orders now display a clear Free Shipping notice when the vendor order total meets the threshold for complimentary shipping, making it easier to plan orders and avoid unnecessary shipping charges.

  • Fixed
    Partial Inventory Order Fulfillment

Improved the order fulfillment process for situations where a patient orders multiple products but only some are in stock. Available items are now dispatched correctly without disrupting the remaining back-order.

  • Fixed
    Order Total Tax Calculation

Fixed the checkout process so that sales tax is correctly included in the order total recorded on the patient account. Previously the saved total could differ from the amount the patient was charged.
